They are astronauts on a mission to multiple Exoplanets. The mission’s goal is to survey four habitable worlds ecologically and without destroying any local ecosystems. Due to the distance to eath - around fourteen light-years, the task takes multiple years. Each month they receive a news package from the Earth, which is already 14 years out of date.
