This week I went to the cinema and watched Alita: Battle Angel. I did not expect too much of the story, but I’ve quite enjoyed the movie. I’ve watched the film in 3D, which is not my first choice, but there were no 2D screenings. And for this movie, it worked. I’ve forgotten that I was watching a 3D movie and had one or two moments where I’ve was scared as something just appeared right before my nose :-D The film has a strong central character which drives the story and it’s interesting how she develops throughout the story.
I just started reading Seveneves by Neal Stephenson.π

Review Bobiverse Book 1 to 3
I just devoured the Bobiverse trilogy: We Are Legion (Bobiverse Book 1), For We Are Many (Bobiverse Book 2) and All These Worlds (Bobiverse Book 3) all by Dennis Taylor π. Amazon recommended this series β once again, and as I just came of reading something longer and more substantial, it sounded like the right thing to dive into next. And I just consumed all three book back to back!I watched Bandersnatch on Netflix yesterday. I like Black Mirror, but somehow I do not get warm with this experiment. My biggest Problem is that I never knew how long I still have left, and I also had the feeling that the choices lead to too many cul-de-sacs, where you then need to start over. I’ve managed to get to two ends, but both were not satisfying. Ok, I know its Black Mirror β no ending will ever give fulfillment, but still, I’m now continually wondering if I’ve missed a possible better conclusion. But I don’t have the motivation to try it again.
I just started reading Rejection Proof: How I Beat Fear and Became Invincible by Jia Jiang.π
Review of Becoming by Michelle Obama
I just finished reading Becoming by Michelle Obama.π I did not know much about the Obama family when starting this book, but I remember that I was following the campaign a bit more closely at the time, so I was interested in the book to get some insight and perspective from the inside. The book starts with how she grew up to become the women she is today. It was interesting to read how she needed to learn how to be strong and how important it was for her in reaching any life goals.I just started reading All These Worlds (Bobiverse Book 3) by Dennis Taylor.π
I just started reading For We Are Many (Bobiverse Book 2) by Dennis Taylor.π

A small sculpture I found on my desk today. Build by my daughter- so cute!
This is so true!
You canβt tell kids anything. Kids want to be like adults. They want to do what the adults are doing. You have to let them see adults behaving like the whole, human beings youβd like them to be.

Got a new toy. Hopefully This helps with getting better video quality.
@V_ I saw him speak a few year back. It was one of those stories that stays with you. It touches a nerve and bring a smile simultaneously. Can I play soccer in your backyard? (That's my favorite.)

@macgenie Just heard his interview last week on one of the old episodes of the you're not so smart podcast. I'm not yet so far into the book but I like what I've read. And I certainly in the group of people rejecting myself first in fear of external rejection :-(
