Review of A Memory of Light, The Wheel of Time, Book 14

Review of A Memory of Light, The Wheel of Time, Book 14 audiobook ๐Ÿ“š. The final book in the story! We stand before the last battle. Every faction is preparing his or her soldiers. War plans are made โ€“ and then discarded again. I have forgotten most of what happens in the last battle; I only remembered Egwene’s battle scenes. But this is a bit sad as so much is happening in this book.

Sabbatical Day One

Today was the first day of my two-month sabbatical. It will actually be a bit longer than two months. I think it makes sense to document a bit of what I do with this time. Due to the world’s current situation, there will not be much traveling, but I hope to explore Switzerland a bit. The first day just started perfectly with another Corona Test, as I was not feeling so well last week; let’s hope it is negative.

Review of Station Theta: A Sci-Fi Dystopian Mystery (Miles & Breaker Book 2)

I finished reading Station Theta: A Sci-Fi Dystopian Mystery (Miles & Breaker Book 2) by Nicole Adrianne.๐Ÿ“š This book is the second issue in the Miles & Breaker series. The new school year has started, and Miles and Jana enjoy exciting lessons. But something is still off, and Jana decides to visit her parents on station Theta. The start is slow. The characters seem to have a different voice now: a lot more internal monologue and a fixation on clothes and looks and luckily some smaller amount on the characters’ insecurities, which is good.
