April 2022
Spent the after noon in the shop and build this with my daughter. A training horse for here to play on. Still missing the legs and head.
I just finsihed reading The Story Grid: What Good Editors Know by Shawn Coyne.📚
Yesterday I watched a very good movie on Netflix Mixtape. I did not expect very much from it but I liked the movie a lot. It is quite slow, but hits all the right spots. 🍿
I hate my headache pills. The texture is just all wrong :-(
I tried another new recipe today Broiled chicken cacciatore with cauliflower mash. But I also mad normal mash as well. I liked the recipe overall. But I need to experiment some more with the cauliflower mash.

To hear some people talk, you'd think function composition was some kind of sacred truth. A holy principle to meditate upon whilst genuflecting and lighting incense. But function composition is not complicated. You probably use it all the time, whether you realise it or not. Why, then, do functional programmers get all worked up about it? What's the big deal?

Coming back home after some days away, you start to notice how much greener the environment has gotten. Spring is here now.

“Blausee”
Spent some relaxing days here. Unfortunately, it is the last morning today. And we need to go home again (The image shows our hotel’s outdoor pool).

Castle of Thun
I’ve watched Metal Lords. I did not expect too much from the movie, but it was better than I would have expected. I loved how the characters interacted with each other. And the message the film sends is quite positive. And for once, the main character was not stupid in his love triangle situation and did the right thing!
I started to create a font – not sure if I need help :-)
Thoughts on Kreis der Dämmerung Series
This post collects my thoughts on the series “Der Kreis der Dämmerung” (Circle of dawn), a book by German author Ralf Isau. I’ve read this series for the third time, and it is still as captivating as the other times around. The series contains four books. 📚

The beavers are not active here. A week ago, the tree was still standing (An image of a fallen tree next to a pond).
I watched Carrie Pilly today. I liked the movie a lot. Somehow it reminded me of Juno and another movie I’ve seen that I can’t remember the title anymore.
The second set of comic books I’ve received this week! The complete set of the Gaia Comic by Oliver Knörzel and Powree.
