At least I’m a bit productive today – I managed to file away the stack of payed bills. The oldest was from the beginning of the year.

 

Editing text with a headache does not work. I hope the headache will go way during the day so I can do what I planed to do today :-(

Inside the second water chamber which is not yet cleaned. The room is around 6 meter high. And will be filled nearly to the top. Together with six(?) other reservoirs in the city these have enough water for two whole days. And being on a hill also work without power.

We were visiting friends yesterday evening, and I managed to convince their cat to sit on my lap.

It made my day having a cat sleep on me after so many years. So now it is back to observing cat photos.

I just noticed that I only have one scene to write left, and I have the first draft of my short story finished! The draft has grown a bit while writing; I’m now at 21 scenes.

I’m back home after an amazing week of holidays. Now I have my usual view out of the office again when writing in the morning.

We live in an amazing age. I’ve showed keynote to my daughter today. And she went of and created a presentation about the snow owl. Researching the content via the internet. The image shows a photo of the first slide with the title.

The outline of a short story I’m working on. It is the first time I’ve written a outline and actually started wiring the scenes. I have hopes that it will get finished. The outline allows me to write what I want within the scene but I still get a story which hopefully leads somewhere.

Today I wrote my eightieth morning-page. I still like the process, and I think it helps me write more. But I also notice that I tend to write less than the 750 words you typically write. Most days, I’m around 200 to 500 words. But it does not matter; I’m happy as long as I write something every day.

 
I played around a bit with stable diffusion. This was my best result so far. I was using the following term to generate it: “consipratory meeting between a woman and man in a restaurant, Cinematic, Synthwave, Serene, Lonely”

@V_ There's a lot of fun playing around with text-to-image models. The output is often interesting or at least entertaining. And, occasionally, remarkable. It didn't quite nail synthwave in this one. 😊

@sod to be honest I don't have an idea how synthwave should look. It just sounded interesting. And yes most of my other experiments (mostly around steam punk airships) did not lead to the results I have in my mind (and am unable to draw manually).

It feels strange to sit back in my childhood room at my parent’s home and work on my laptop. I’m hoping for some new inspirations from having different surroundings.
