Payed the last bills for this year and cleaned up my desk. I think I’m ready for the new year now.

 

I just realized I’ve been sitting at my desk drinking plain hot water because I forgot to add a tea bag to my mug. My brain is not up to spec today.

I just used it for the first time in a remote meeting today. This app is a game changer. I could share the designs and the iPhone simulator at the same time. Usually, this does not work, as I have such a big monitor that I can’t share my whole screen.

Today I will code a bit of Swift UI – I’m looking forward to it. Was working with it for to days last week already and had fun.

I DEMOLISHED the sidewalk to pull water into my yard. Then I grew a food forest using that water. And it was all done within the bounds of rules and regs.

@V_ That was way more interesting than I expected it to be. Imagine if towns and cities actually incorporated this kind of thinking into their town planning regulations!

@Miraz I was also suprised about the (legal) background he provided. As this was my firth thought when seeing the thumbnail. Management of rain water is an interesting concept. We use the german term "Schwammstadt" ("sponge city") for cities trying to get the water into the ground instead of sending it downstream as fast as possible.

Another autumn forest from above. Now that we have winter, I need to find a new subject. :-) I’m happy with the trees now; they look realistic.
