After the second issue, this book felt like it moved the plot forward again. It keeps the focus on the four main heroes and shows how they try to take part in the war. They still need to learn how to work together and especially trust each other’s intuition.
A big part of the book looks at the relationship between Emila and Jacob. They get a chance to find out if they want the relationship a tethering involves. I liked the solution the author found for this topic and think it was essential to answer the question around this unplaned and unwanted tethering.
Unfortunately, the story is still quite open, and I’m not sure in which direction it evolves. I’m hoping that the next issue will clear this up and gives some conclusion.
