Review of the Way of Kings (The Stormlight Archive, Book 1)

I just finished reading The Way of Kings (The Stormlight Archive, Book 1) by Brandon Sanderson.📚This book is good, and the pages are just flying past me while reading.

I like how the author describes the ever desperate live of Kaladin and how he always managed to go further. Then we have the opposite character trying to get a position as a ward with a famous researcher but only with the plan to betray her.

It is seldom that it happens, but I like all characters occurring in the central parts of this book. Kaladin is still my most favorite to read, but Shalan is not far behind.

The book has multiple main characters and a lot of historical personalities as well, which needs some energy to keep the overview. And up to the end of the book, it is not yet clear how the main characters belong together. Are they all on the same team or not?
