Lord of Chaos, The Wheel of Time, Book 6

Review of Lord of Chaos, The Wheel of Time, Book 6 audiobook 📚. In this book, we see how the Aes Sedai in Salidar make politic and manage to lift somebody to the stole in the hope to control here. But soon will learn that they miscalculated. On the other side, we also see how the Aes Sedai ruins the meeting with Rand, causing a lot of pain in the future as well.

And the plot thread in Ebou Dar is starting as well. I’m looking forward to its further development. Following are some other notes and observation I made during the book:

Chapter 6: Nice detail about the usage of binders (Oath Rod) in the age of legends; there it was a punishment done only to criminals. Also, the details about seeing the end of life coming when bound. I cannot remember that I picked up these hints in my first two reads of the book.

Chapter 20: Loial’s future wife gets introduced, and I realize that somehow I like the Ogiers.

Chapter 30: I never realized that Logain had seen Rand when he was watching the parade in Camelyn.

Chapter 38: The scene with Matt in the Little Tower when he confronts Egwene.

Chapter 54: A new fighting age has been started in this book when Asha’man and Aes Sedai take part in fights, it gets messy.
