Review Their Greatest Game (Chronicles of Theren Book 2)

I just finished reading Their Greatest Game (Chronicles of Theren Book 2) by C. D. Tavenor.📚

Theren and his “sister” Jill have survived the first yeats on Earth. And have both started to shape the planet more and more. Jill mostly works on getting Syntethics Intelligences legally recognized and protected on the same level as humans. At the same time, Theren is working on their projects in space. And solve the big mystery about the culprits of some devastating attacks on the interstellar probes.

The writing style in the second book has improved – about which I’m quite happy. There are still some bumpy paragraphs in the book. But it is a lot cleaner compared to the first issue.

I did not like the end of the book. Instead of answers, the author creates new mysteries, especially with the way too long prologue, which introduces new characters.

At least my spider-sense was not entirely off, and my feeling that Jill created all these mysteries herself was right. But I still don’t understand why. There seems to be a bigger secret, but right now, I’m not convinced to read more in this series.
