Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Harry Potter Book 2)

I just finished listening Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Harry Potter 2) by J.K. Rowling.📚

The second-year starts badly for Harry and Ron. Nearly expelled on their first day, the year does not get better. As the Chamber of Secrets has been opened and Muggle-born students are being attacked. Once again, the tree will need to save the day.

Relistening to this issue, I feel that I got older, and combined with writing reviews now, I have also gotten more critical about books. I have these books in fond memory, but now I feel and notice for the first time that the plot of the book is relatively thin. It is not a wrong thing as it is a children’s book.

I always notice that the adults constantly feel they know everything better and continuously underestimate the children — specifically Harry, who now has some track record in fighting against Lord Voldemort. And on the other side, Harry and Ron are not telling the teachers what they found out.

Communication is a good thing, and being impartial and not dismissing it out of hand also :-D. At least something we can learn from this book.
