Review of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Harry Potter 3)

I finished listening Harry Potter and the Chamber of SecretsHarry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Harry Potter 3) by J.K. Rowling.📚

The third installment of Harry Potter starts with a bang. Harry walks away from the Dursleys end ends up in Diagonalley for two weeks on his own. Everybody is behaving strangely around him. And a notorious murderer has escaped the magical prison of Askaban. How is he connected to Harry?

Opinion

Please note that from here on out, the text can contain spoilers of the book.

This is the first of the book where my memory could still hold up to the book’s actual story. No obvious plot holes and not too many strange occurrences are needed to make the story work. I could enjoy this issue and did not always stumble over plot holes :-)

I liked that we get some more in-depth insight into Harry’s parents’ past for the first time. And that this time around, Harry has adults who actually listen to him and want to help him.
