Thoughts on A Page in Your Diary

My thoughts on A Page in Your Diary: An ’80s Time Travel Adventure by Keith A Pearson. πŸ“š

I can’t remember where I got the book, but I greatly enjoyed it. It was strange reading for the POV of a fifty-something bloke. Not what I usually read, but I like the main character a lot. What drew me into the story was partly the main character itself but also the writing style of the author. It creates an exciting atmosphere where you are immersed in the story and want to know what happens next.

It certainly helps if you were alive in the 80s to understand all the references – I assume I’ve missed most of them as I’m too young. But I could still enjoy the story.

I also liked the theme of the book first love and how you know that what you have is the right thing for a content life.

The ending part was a bit abrupt and has taken me out of the book a lot β€” it makes sense from the story, but I would have wished for a different ending. But never the less is still recommended to read the book. It’s a standalone book for a rainy weekend.
