Looks like there are also struggling banks in my country. I wonder if I should stop my news embargo again I’m feeling a bit out of the loop. On the other hand, reading the news does not provide any value to my day in 99% of the cases. Context: Credit Suisse.

@V_ That's such a tricky balance to maintain. I've haven't been actively following the news for a long time now. The bank stories caught my interest so I started paying a bit more attention. Then I found myself habitually checking for other news. It's so easy to fall back into unhelpful habits!

@jabel yes exactly. My other issue is that right now I'm feeling like I'm not fulfilling my duty as an informed citizen of my home country. Perhaps it is for me also the type of "newspaper" I look at (mostly the free ones. And I should just use a paid one. I've also stumbled over Ground News the other day. At least there I would get an overview over the full spectrum of opinions. But again, as far as I've seen it only contains English sources in there. But yeah one step at the time.
