Apps without names on the Some Screen

@ndreas asked if it is possible to add icons to the Home Screen without a name. This is a workaround to do it via an Shortcut.

The shortcut then starts the app. And when you add a shortcut to the Home Screen you can control the name and icon.

The simple shortcut, with just one action.

The “Add to Home Screen” dialog. To get the right icon, I just made a screenshot of my Home Screen and cut it down to only show the icon of the app I want to use (this was the quickest option).

Screenshot of my Home Screen, with two example shortcuts without a name. On has the default shortcut icon, the other uses the original icon of the Micro.blog app.

The end result, two “app” without a name.
