Summer heat 📝

Sweltering heat lies over the neighborhood. The ice dealers closed up long ago – since the Power and Water Conservation Act was introduced earlier in the month. The air conditioner dealers followed shortly after.

The prices for cellar flats are going through the roof. It’s the only place where I can get some resemblance of normalcy. But not for long anymore as the top soil layers slowly heat up under the sweltering heat of the late summer sun.
