Eyeglass Case
My old eyeglass case broke – actually, it broke long ago, but I finally got the idea to replace it. I searched the Internet to buy a new one, but the only one I found and liked was out of stock.
Luckily, it did not look so hard to build myself. I crafted it from cardboard stock (and an old Amazon envelope). I further used magnets and self-adhesive fabrics (grey and green (both found on Amazon)).
I’m happy with the result. Although the original feature that the case folds flat does not work - with the fabrics on our outside and inside, it is too stiff. But it works as a case, and I’m using it now for my glasses.
I want to find out how durable it is – I fear I need to redo it at some point with some heavier card stock. It holds its shape and has some protective function, but it is certainly not a hard case.
