After two nights in the forest, I’m glad to be back home. I’m so sore and tired right now. But happy I was able to experience this with my daughter. Also proud she dared to try it (it was her first time sleeping outside in the forest).

I just finished reading Will Save the Galaxy for Food by Yahtzee Croshaw and EM Gist.πŸ“š In a future where humankind can travel space in seconds, we follow a Star Pilot story hoping to meets ends by chartering short “real” space flights for tourists arriving at the Quantunnel of the Moon city Ritsuko. One day he meets a mysterious woman who hires him for a private tour. Not knowing what he is in for and in desperate need of the paycheck, he takes the gig.

I just started reading Without A Summer (Glamourist Histories Series Book 3) by Mary Robinette Kowal.πŸ“š Jane and her husband Vincent travel to London to handle a commission by an Irish Baron. They decide to take Melody – Jane’s sister – with them to enjoy London and find an eligible husband for her. The author changed the writing style and tone again in this book. Compared to the second issue, this book is nearer to the first book.

I finished reading Glamour in Glass (Glamourist Histories Series Book 2) by Mary Robinette Kowal.πŸ“š Vincent and Jane are married and work now together as Glamourists. After a successful commission by the prince regent, they start a honeymoon to Belgium. As the English defeated Napoleon, it is deemed safe again to travel there. But soon after arriving, there are signs that it could not be as safe as thought. The book’s tone has changed; this issue is a lot more adventure-driven, and Jane can finally be herself.
