Review of The Relentless Moon: A Lady Astronaut Novel Book 3

I just finished reading The Relentless Moon: A Lady Astronaut Novel by Mary Robinette Kowal.πŸ“š This book series is such a page-turner. Starting the book, I was hoping to get more from Elmas POV but reading the title clearly shows that this is not the case. I’m not sure what I was thinking there ;-) In this part, we see what happens on the earth and the moon from Nicole Wargin’s perspective.

Review of Extinction Game, The Apocalypse Duology book 1

I just finished reading Extinction Game: The Apocalypse Duology: Book One by Gary Gibson.πŸ“š A good idea and perfect execution! Jerry is the last human on Earth. He managed to survive a global pandemic created by a sect. Until one day, he finds footprints in his backyard. The book starts slow but takes up its pace towards the middle. I liked the POV of Jerry quite a lot – he is an interesting character, perhaps a bit naive but certainly not stupid.

Review of The Calculating Stars: A Lady Astronaut Novel

I just ended reading The Calculating Stars: A Lady Astronaut Novel by Mary Robinette Kowal.πŸ“š I’m not sure anymore where I found this book, but I liked it! It reminded me a lot to the Seveneves by Neal Stephenson. I think mostly due to a similar structure, but this book is undoubtedly less science fiction and more alternate history. Another aspect is for this story is the accessible writing style of the author.
