Below you will find pages that mention the tag “book-binding”
Trying to compile my morning pages into a single formatted document to print and bind them as a book. It is a lot more manual work than I expected. And so far I found not god way to get page references with the actual page – would need to use Latex or switch to Word for final styling instead of Pages.
Experimented a bit with typesetting for an upcoming book binding project. Going from individual markdown files to a final pdf to print (via Pages). Looks like the simplest process so far and for a one off experiment perfect. Also found Bookbinder 3.0 to reorder the pdf for print.
I finished my second bookbinding project some days ago. I’m happy with the outcome – I especially like the old map I used for the cover decorations. The book is A6 in size and was bound, not only glued like my first one. The decorative paper on the cover insides are red.
My first self-made book. There is still room to improve but it was a fun process.
@V_ oh man, gonna have to try bookbinder. Been really struggling to not lose formatting between my markdown editor and Affinity Publisher, but I didn’t know any other way to get the binding-ready PDF.

@oddevan I'm not understanding it quite yet but so far it looks usable. And the best I don't need to pay to try it out.
