This book is a starter guide to meditation and explains the “current” state of the sciences regarding the usefulness of meditation. There is only the unfortunate fact that this book is already ten years old. So I assume the current research is already further again.
I’ve enjoyed reading the book, and I think I could extract some value from it – I’ve not yet begun meditation in earnest.
