I a closeup of a small disc sander with a circle-making jig clamped in front of it. On top is a raw circle which is int the process of getting sanded round.

I did the reasonable and spent some time in my shop today. I built a jig to create round discs with my disk sander.

Finally had the energy to spend some time in my woodshop again today. And I built something just for myself. I think that was only the second time this year I spent significant time there.

On the right side is a home built shelving unit with four drawers in it. The drawers are not yet full. Everything is pushed into outer most part of the room where the roof meets the floor. On the left of the unit are three boxes with our dvd collection.

The result of my cleanup project form yesterday. Used some old materials with were taking up space in my shop. And improved one of the chaotic corners in our flat.

On the right side is my homemade workbench, next to it is the bandsaw. At the far end is a shelf with a lot of stuff. The image is taken from the door. The floor in the middle of the room is empty and clean.

I’ve cleaned up my shop yesterday – it was desperately needed. I still need to change the organisation a bit, but at least it is less dusty now.

@V_ I remember when I built a snowball catapult, and when stepping on it, it catapulted the snowball right in my own temple. Let’s say the engineering part was a bit quick.

@V_ Here is the link to the old project. The new stands have a steeper angle—the original angle was not enough.
