I just finished reading The Girl Cloaked in Shadow (The Chronicles of Maggie Trent Book 3) by Megan O’Russell.๐Ÿ“š Maggie is off to a new adventure, Bertrand Wayland is missing. And the siren requires his presence in her realm, so Maggie is compelled to search for him. I had difficulty reading this book because this world did not catch my interest as much as the two other worlds. And also, the story did not felt finished.

First, she assumes she’s dead but soon realizes she is now in the Siren' Realm where every wish is fulfilled as long as you can pay the price. The book plays in the same universe as “The Tethering” series from the corresponding author.
