The second book directly connects to the end of the first issue. Kalina is now Queen of the Valdir - but she is not happy. This book is a classic coming of age fantasy story, and it is written obviously for children. You see through the secrets in the plot quite quickly, but for a short book in-between more complex texts, it is quite right. I love the main protagonist Kalina and how she develops during the book.
