@odd l just never stopped building then :-) It's unusual to have so much snow here, so I need to use the chance I got. The last time there was enough snow, was three or four years past.

Looking out of the window: Big snowflakes are falling from the sky. The snow brings a tactful mood to the day, hiding the ugliness of the world. I love these moments of silently falling snow.

I just finished reading Shadow of the Conqueror (Chronicles of Everfall Book 1) by Shad Brooks.📚 This book is the first book by Youtuber Shad from Shadiversity channel. I’m a subscriber for some time mainly for his technical videos about how castles work. I’ve known for some time that he wants to write a book but did not realize that it was already published. So I was happy to start the book when he mentioned it the other time in one of his videos.

Review of The Left Hand of Darkness (Hainish Cycle)

I just finished reading The Left Hand of Darkness by Ursula K. Le Guin.📚 I stumbled over this series on Micro.blog, I think, and as I needed something new to read, I started it. It is fascinating how Ms. Le Guin can write Science Fiction without ever needing to invent or explain technology. This book has Aliens and Spacecraft, but most of the book, the two main protagonists are walking though the big open world.
